Club De Golf Lorraine

Club de Golf Lorraine is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course situated in Lorraine, Quebec, a community north of Montreal. Designed by Arnold McLean Sr. and open since 1960, the course has been a fixture of the region's golf scene for more than six decades.

At 6,249 yards, the layout rewards accuracy over raw power. Mature tree-lined fairways frame most holes, tightening landing zones and demanding controlled ball-striking, while natural waterways add strategic weight at several points on the course. The parkland setting gives the round a settled, shaded character that distinguishes it from more exposed layouts in the area.

The combination of manageable length and tree-and-water hazards makes Club de Golf Lorraine a reasonable test for mid-handicappers while still offering enough variety to interest lower-handicap players. The long-established layout also means the turf and trees have had generations to mature, lending the course a classic feel that newer builds in the province can't yet match.
