The Antigonish Golf & Country Club is a semi-private parkland course set in the town of Antigonish, in the highland interior of Nova Scotia. One of the province's longer-standing clubs, it traces its roots to 1926, when the original nine holes opened. A second nine was completed in 1990, bringing the layout to its current 18-hole, par-72 configuration stretching 6,640 yards. The course was shaped by designers Robert Moote and Ian Andrew.

The terrain is classic parkland, and the course is noted for greens that demand careful reading — straightforward distances rarely tell the full story. The signature hole, the 2nd, is a 204-yard par-3 named An Sloc (a nod to the region's Gaelic heritage) that plays over a pond to an elevated drop, requiring a committed carry and precise club selection. It sets the tone early for a layout that rewards thoughtful course management across all skill levels.

At 6,640 yards, the course presents a genuine test without being punishing, making it well-suited to a broad range of handicaps — from club members seeking a competitive round to visiting golfers passing through northeastern Nova Scotia.
