Lingan Golf Club in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is an 18-hole parkland championship course with a history dating back to 1895.
Established in 1895, Lingan Golf Club is one of Canada's oldest golf clubs. The club moved to its current MacLean's Crossing location in 1913, with the original 9-hole layout designed by Malcolm Martin. Stanley Thompson redesigned the original 9 holes in 1922, and the second nine holes were developed by C.E. 'Robbie' Robinson in 1964, resulting in a tree-lined parkland layout.
