Nova Scotia's longest-running folk festival in a UNESCO World Heritage town.
Held each year in early August, the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival is Nova Scotia's longest-running folk music festival and one of the oldest in Canada, set across multiple intimate indoor and outdoor stages throughout historic Lunenburg. Traditional and contemporary folk artists from near and far perform over four days, with daytime workshops, a women-in-music conference, and evening headline concerts. The festival's Wharf Stage — accompanied by sea breezes and harbour views — perfectly complements a round at nearby Bluenose Golf Club or Osprey Ridge.
