Greater Moncton Highland Games & Scottish Festival

Held each June in Greater Moncton, this multi-day festival features massed pipe bands, Highland dance competitions, heavy athletics (including caber toss), sheep dog demonstrations, sheep shearing, and authentic Scottish food. Free community concerts precede the main Saturday events, which are open to the public at no cost. Now in its 19th year, the festival draws visitors from across the Maritimes and beyond.
