Gaspésie's premier fall traditional music & culture festival, near the golf course.
Held every Thanksgiving weekend in Carleton-sur-Mer, Festival La Virée Trad is a vibrant celebration of Québécois, Gaspésien, and Acadian living heritage, featuring professional concerts of traditional music, song, and dance, plus the largest public market in Gaspésie with over 50 local artisans and producers. More than 7,000 festivalgoers enjoy workshops (jigging, fiddle, guitar), storytelling, a grand Saturday evening dance vigil, and a colourful fall mountain-and-sea setting. Now in its 25th edition, the festival draws visitors from across Québec, Atlantic Canada, and beyond.
