A beloved 10-day folk buckwheat harvest festival in Louiseville, running since 1978.
Held each fall around the buckwheat harvest, this beloved Mauricie festival celebrates Quebec's agricultural heritage with tastings of buckwheat products — pancakes, bread, beer, and more — alongside live music, a grand folkloric parade, and family activities. Running for over 40 editions, it draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to Louiseville's downtown streets. It is considered one of the most important regional festivals in Mauricie.
