Atlantic Canada's premier Acadian cultural festival — music, parades & the Grand Tintamarre.
Held every year from early to mid-August in Caraquet — just 15 km north of Golf Pokemouche — this iconic festival has celebrated Acadian heritage since 1963, making it one of the longest-running cultural festivals in Atlantic Canada. Highlights include francophone concerts, the blessing of the fishing fleet, and the thunderous Grand Tintamarre parade on National Acadian Day (August 15). It draws visitors from across Canada and is widely regarded as the flagship event of Acadia.
