The Festi Jazz International de Rimouski brings together internationally renowned jazz artists and emerging talent every Labour Day long weekend in the heart of downtown Rimouski, steps from the St. Lawrence. Founded in 1986, the festival has hosted jazz legends and draws over 30,000 music lovers to an intimate, maritime-tinged atmosphere spanning multiple indoor and outdoor venues. Its Grand Prix de la Relève competition also spotlights the next generation of jazz musicians.
