4-day waterfront festival celebrating Digby's world-famous scallop fishing heritage.

The longest-running festival in the Digby area, held every year over four days in early August, Digby Scallop Days celebrates the scallop fishing industry with a Grand Street Parade, scallop shucking competitions, live entertainment, boat gear demonstrations, woodsmen competitions, and a fireworks finale. Digby is known as the Scallop Capital of the World, and every local eatery serves fresh Digby scallops during the festival weekend. It has been running since 1975 and draws visitors from across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
