Chester Race Week

Held every August at the Chester Yacht Club, Chester Race Week is Canada's largest keelboat regatta, drawing over 130 boats and 1,300-plus sailors from across North America to race on Mahone Bay. Named one of Sailing World magazine's 14 greatest sailing events in North America, the four-day event has roots dating to 1856. Beyond the racing, visitors enjoy nightly live music, food trucks, BBQs, sailing seminars, and a lively waterfront atmosphere in the village of Chester — just minutes from Chester Golf Club.
