Baddeck Regatta Week (Bras d'Or Race Week)

Hosted by the Bras d'Or Yacht Club since 1913, Regatta Week begins on the first Sunday of August and draws sailors and spectators from across Nova Scotia to race on the stunning Bras d'Or Lake — just minutes from Bell Bay Golf Club. Junior and keelboat classes compete for historic trophies including the coveted Gardiner Hubbard Bell Cup, and evenings at the club feature live Cape Breton music and a festive kitchen-party atmosphere.
